This online memorial was created in loving memory of Thomas Brattin, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Thomas's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Thomas forever.

Tom was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He was loved by many. His granddaughter, Cailyn, was the light of his life. He only was here for the first year of her life, but they had already formed an extremely close bond. Tom had just found out that  his first grandson was on his way (Calvin Thomas), but God called him away before his birth.

Tom was a gifted and talented mechanic and could fix, design, or come up with a solution to anything that was put before him. His passion (other than his family) was building and flying model airplanes. He had been the past president to the Fresno/Madera Radio Modeler Club for several years.

Tom left behind his wife, Patricia, of 32 years, daughter, April Davidson, and her husband, Josh, and granddaughter Cailyn (and grandson Calvin born 9/10/2007), son, Matthew and his wife, Blanca, and daughter, Ashlynn, brothers, Ken (Leslie), Bob, sister, Sara (Burt) Johnson, step-father, George Nervo, father-in-law, Bill Smith (Gloria), nephews Burt  (April) Johnson, Jason Smith, nieces Hailey & Shawna Johnson, Becky (Robert) Smith-Pallmann, and Angela (Ian) Smith-Smalley, great nephews, Cameron Smith, Cash Smalley, Great Nieces, Eve Smalley and Josie Johnson.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Haile Brattin and his mother, Edith Anne Brattin-Nervo, his mother-in-law, Frances Smith, and his brother-in-law, Barry Smith (http://Barry-Smith.virtual-memorials.com).

Tom is dearly missed by his family. We know in our hearts that he's in a much better place.
